Unfortunately today that isn’t happening, as Meek’s house arrest has been extended. According to TMZ, the community service Meek was supposed to take part in during his bid involved Habitats for Humanity, homeless shelters and helping veterans. Instead, Meek has been giving his services to the Flint Water Crisis, and area public schools. Though those efforts are admirable, the court is being adamant about its mandate, and sentencing Meek to another eight days of house arrest.
It’s a minor setback, but let’s hope the judge is satisfied with Meek’s next week of service. He’s got a mixtape to drop.
