These celebrity breakups are the ones that hit the headlines hardest
in 2015. Some of these couples may have seemed perfect and others were
destined for divorce court when they said “I Do”.  These top breakups
hit headlines the hardest and had the paparazzi scrambling for pictures.
If anything can be learned from these celebs “uncoupling” is that you never know what goes on behind closed doors.
Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner
After months and months of rumors of a split, their breakup came one
day after their 10-year anniversary, which is reportedly significant
under California divorce laws when it comes to alimony law.
Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale
Undeniably one of the coolest couples in Rock-n-Roll, Gwen Stefani
and Gavin Rossdale called it quits after 13 years of marriage. The
parents of three sons made their breakup public this summer. In court
documents filed by Stefani, she  cited “irreconcilable differences,”
which we later came to find out meant that he was having an affair with
their nanny, who bore an uncanny resemblance to Gwen.
Charlize Theron & Sean Penn
A couple we were all rooting for, Oscar winners Charlize Theron and
Sean Penn were the it couple for over a year. So their abrupt split
during the Cannes Film Festival was a surprise. It was rumored that she
was the one who put an end to their 6-month engagement and longtime
friendship.
Miranda Lambert & Blake Shelton
One of country’s hottest couples, Miranda and Blake called it quits
much to the disappointment of fans everywhere. “This is not the future
we envisioned,” they said in a joint statement given to the AP. “And it
is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real
people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues.
Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very
 personal matter.”
Kaley Cuoco & Ryan Sweeting
‘Big Bang Theory’ star Kaley Cuoco’s extremely quick marriage
to tennis pro Ryan Sweeting didn’t last long….at all. The couple became
engaged after just 3 months of dating, and split 21 months after their
wedding on a Southern California ranch on New Year’s Eve 2013.
Jon Hamm & Jennifer Westfeldt
After 18 years of being together, Jon and Jennifer were one of the
Hollywood’s long-time couples that everyone loved. “With great sadness,
we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history,”
the couple said in a joint statement. “We will continue to be
supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward.”
Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green
Reba McEntire & Narvel Blackstock
It wasn’t a good year for relationships in Country music. Megastar Reba McEntire and her husband of 26 years, Narvel Blackstock, announced plans to divorce this summer. They revealed that although they had been separated for months, they were still continuing to work together, since Blackstock is also McEntire’s manager.
Patrick Dempsey and his wife, makeup artist Jillian Fink, seemed like a celebrity fairy-tale couple. They married in 1999 and had their first child, a few years later, followed five years after that by twins . Surprisingly, Jillian filed for divorce in late January, although they remained amicable enough to release a joint statement. “It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage,” the couple said. “Our primary concern remains the well being of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family’s privacy at this very sensitive time.”
